Hadal Maw functioned for me as a platform where we really didn’t restrain ourselves when it came to creativity and exploring unconventional territories in the technical metal realm. “Charlatan” was the third and final release I performed on which was a culmination of many years of experimentation with the group to try and find new modes of expression within the time keeping role of the band.

While this digibook contains full pdf transcriptions of each song, you don’t need to view this as a start to finish mission to learn each tune. Rather, this could be used as a library to go in and pick particular fills or grooves to add some new vibes to your vocabulary or even just challenge your current facility.
